On 16 October 2026, at a press conference in Casablanca, CIH Bank and the Moroccan proptech Yakeey presented a property space inside the CIH Mobile app. The idea is simple: find a home, check you can finance it and follow every step to the keys, in one place.

The launch is worth a close look for any Moroccan agency, because it shows where buyer expectations are heading. Here is what was announced, based on reporting by Le Matin, Le360 and Boursenews.

What was launched

According to Le Matin, the two companies worked together for about two years before this first version. The new space combines:

  • property search among listings provided by Yakeey;
  • an instant valuation tool, which uses transaction data and AI;
  • financing simulation and an online mortgage application, without leaving the app;
  • tools for sellers, including listing and valuation;
  • tracking of the purchase, with a joint bank-and-Yakeey team supporting clients from project to signing.

The partners describe the journey in four stages: Time to Find (search), Time to Yes (financing decision), Time to Money (release of funds) and Time to Keys (completion). Le Matin reports that each stage is monitored daily, so that an expert can step in when something stalls.

Where AI comes in

The most interesting part for agencies is the conversational agent. Le Matin reports that the bank plans an AI agent that will contact users who showed interest in a property, only if they agreed to be contacted. It will ask about the type of home, the location and the budget, then pass structured information to advisers. It is meant to handle requests that arrive outside advisers’ working hours.

AI is also used behind the scenes. Yakeey uses it to route requests to advisers by area and neighbourhood and to summarise client conversations. A planned feature will match buyers’ saved criteria with available properties and send an alert.

Key takeawayA major Moroccan bank is now designing its property journey around three things: answers outside office hours, consent before contact, and a structured handover to a human adviser.

The numbers behind the partners

Le Matin puts CIH Bank at about 3 million clients. Yakeey, founded in March 2023, reports more than 1,000 independent advisers, more than 5,000 verified properties available and a team of more than 130 people. Boursenews adds that Yakeey’s institutional backers include the CDG group and the World Bank group.

The launch comes with a TV programme, “Chkoun Yl9ali Dar”, co-produced by the two partners and aired on 2M, with eight weekly episodes according to Le360. Boursenews reports that the first episode drew about 3.9 million viewers, a figure presented at the conference.

Why the bank wants to arrive earlier

CIH Bank CEO Lotfi Sekkat noted, as reported by Boursenews, that a bank traditionally steps in at the end of the buying process. The new space aims to reverse that: be present when a buyer is still defining the project. Yakeey founder Karim Beqqali summed up the promise, according to Le360, as finding the right verified property and knowing right away that it can be financed.

What it means for agencies

This is a first version, and its results are not yet known. But three lessons apply to any agency, whatever its size:

  1. Night and weekend demand is real. A bank is building an agent specifically for requests outside working hours.
  2. Consent and structure matter. The agent asks permission, collects a few key facts, and hands over a clean summary.
  3. Verified listings win trust. Yakeey says its listings are visited, under mandate and removed once sold. Fresh data is part of the product.

Independent agencies do not need a bank partnership to apply these ideas. They need fast, honest replies in the client’s language, a log of every lead and a clear morning plan. That is what we build with Quick Agent. kawnium has no link with CIH Bank or Yakeey.
